Admission is $5.00. Tournament usually
concludes at approximately 4:00 p.m., followed by a VIP barbecue dinner and
awards.
Celebrities who have participated in
past tournaments include Wayne Gretzky, Samuel L. Jackson, Eddie Van Halen,
Chad Everett, James Woods, Joe Pesci, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Franz , Jack
Nicholson, Chris O'Donnell, Neal McDonough and Mark Wahlberg.
Golfers/Sponsors: The $3,500 Sponsorship
provides one playing spot in a foursome, which consists of celebrities,

Attractions: In addition to the Tournament, there are many
Police Department displays, such as helicopters, the bomb squad, the mobile
museum, and LAPD horses. There is also great food and drink throughout the
park.
Attendance: Approximately 5,000 to 8,000. Attendees include golf enthusiasts, celebrity
watchers, and those looking for a family day in the park. A large number of
children attend the event with their parents.
Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit the Los
Angeles Memorial Foundation, which financially assists LAPD family members
experiencing catastrophic circumstances resulting from injury or death. Since
it's inception in 1972, the Foundation has granted more than $11.8 million for
medical, funeral and educational expenses.
